So, as another year rolls around, Midsomer Murders enters its 19th year on our screens. With over a 100 episodes in the can and showing no signs of slowing, it looks like it’s going to be a bumper year for our favourite show.

The year is starting off well with ITV giving you another chance to see The Flying Club, starring British screen legends June Whitfield and Bernard Cribbins. It’s being shown at 7pm on Wednesday 7th January.

As well as more episodes hitting our screens, filming will also continue through the year in some of Southern Oxfordshire’s beautiful natural locations. The region has become synonymous with Midsomer and regular readers will know that Midsomer pubs, hotels, tours, and walks are all available in the area.

Neil Dudgeon and Gwilym Lee will continue to reprise their roles, along with a whole host of acting legends and future stars. Over the years Midsomer has seen some of its cast go on to huge global success, like Henry Cavill who went on to play the Man of Steel himself in the Superman franchise and Orlando Bloom who stars as Legolas Greenleaf in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies. So, keep your eyes peeled for future talent in this year’s new episodes.

As always, we’ll do our best to keep you up to date and involved in all the major happenings in both the show and the region throughout the year. From major events such as the Henley Regatta, to news of new episodes, filming locations and cast. And as always, we look forward to hearing from you in our comments section below the line.

So, here’s to a great 2015 full of Midsomer Murders. And to many more years of the same.
